The Amira is a Motor Yacht built in 1933 and designed by the architect O.M. Watts. It is listed as a BIP (Building of Heritage Interest). Its robust structure is made up of 3 levels of greenhouses and lined with 40. This boat, which has a rich history, is said to have taken part in Operation DYNAMO at Dunkirk in 1940 to help the British troops embark. She has undergone several refits since she was built and much of her history is available on request. Since 2018, the hull has been completely stripped over 2/3 of its length, and the engine and water tanks have been removed. Spars and ribs were replaced and the spars were steam-bent and riveted with copper rivets. The Amira sails every year with her owners for cruises combining the comfort and charm of old boats. She has a berth in the harbour. Visits are possible every day by appointment. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
